Christmas in the Village is the annual Thorsby and District Chamber of Commerce customer appreciation event.  Started in December 1993 by local business owners Cheryl Semeniuk and Lori Fipke (now at Essentials Spa and Wellness at the Village at Pigeon Lake), Christmas in the Village is an opportunity for local businesses to thank customers for their patronage over the course of the year and kick off the holiday season with ample community spirit.

 

This year, again due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Christmas in the Village will look different from our traditional evening event.  To avoid the crowds and facilitate social distancing, but still share in the holiday cheer, the annual customer appreciation event will be held from December  3-18, celebrating CHRISTMAS IN THE VILLAGE - EXTENDED EDITION!

  • Christmas Tree Decorating Contest

• Gingerbread House Contest – entries due Dec 14

• Nominate Your Neighbour Decorating Contest

• Business Bingo

• Christmas Elves Cash/Gift Card Donation Collection

• 50/50 – supporting Thorsby Lions

• Christmas Parade – Dec 17, 7PM
